Tupelo Honey

I don't mean to be only negative but rather only honest.  My thesis is that the honey market is a racket.  I've been hearing about Tupelo Honey for a very long time because of Van Morrison:

So I see this article:  http://www.nwfdailynews.com/news/20170504/trouble-in-paradise-for-tupelo-honey-season

But this is the article that resonates loudest:

Hi Katie,

I noticed http://www.nwfdailynews.com/news/20170504/trouble-in-paradise-for-tupelo-honey-season and wondered whether you have researched the rampant fraud in the honey industry?

I’m suspicious as to any honey labeled ‘Tupelo Honey’ because it’s so easy to lie. I contend the honey market is a racket. See http://www.meamcneil.com/Bryant.pdf

Best regards,

Jim Giles
